the cavs might be looking to trade him and we need a shooting guard. He is experienced and gets lots of points per game what else can you expect? He might be a posibilty but what will we have to give up for him, Maybe duhon and our 16th pick and sweeets to sweeten up the deal?

I think it would take quite a bit more then Duhon and 16... perhaps Duhon and 2 or Deng and 16. He's a hell of a player and Cleveland will probably be wanting a lot more then we're willing to give up.

I think hughes is a solid defensive player, but not worth trading for. Besides, we shouldnt spread our tradeable assetts within the division. |

Of course we wouldn't, I was just trying to make the point that we probably wouldn't be willing to part with that much and Cleveland will probably be able to get that much elsewhere.

Not crazy about this idea. He's a great player but he seems to get too selfish on occasion and it would cost us a lot.

Idk, I doubt Hughes is a Pax-Skiles type of a player sadly

He would fill a couple of needs, both as a scorer and a big guard.... I would have to see what the price was like for him.

I dunno about Hughes....
-He gambles a lot on passes, and that could sometimes hurt our defense. he's a really good stealing type of guy, but thats it... -the guy gets injured waaayyy 2 much. -He forces to many bad quality shots... -And he has a fat contract. I would rather have the bulls spend the money on our core players. So to me, im crossing this guy of the bulls lists |

Injuries are a big problem with him. I know he had some issues in the past but he really has turned things around and turned into a pretty good player. He's not the best defensive player, but he's very good at sniping the passing lanes and picking up steals and is still solid enough in man defense.
I don't know if you'd really consider him a 2 guard though, but if he plays/could play there than I'd be a fan of this move. However, I wouldn't give up our 2nd overall pick. I would give up Ben Gordon and something else for him. In fact, I'd deal Chandler and Gordon for Hughes and Donyell, but I don't know if the Cavs would do that (and I'd only make that deal if we got Ben Wallace). |
