I think that Malik Allen should be our starter, or PJ Brown. But PJ is our tallest player, and its always good to bring some size of the bench...
Kirk, Duhon Gordon, Sefolosha, Griffin Deng, Noc, Thomas, Griffin Allen, *Brown, Noc, Thomas Wallace, *Brown, Sweets *Brown will be the first guy coming off the bench for the big guys.... |

This will be a better question in the last 1/3 of the season.
Unless Brown is injured, he's the starting PF. Now, maybe his production drops off even more, and one of the bench players (Sweetney/TyThomas) produce, but Skiles isn't going to do that early on. The only real starting spot up for grabs is SF with Deng and Noce....I expect Deng to win that battle because Noce brings a ton of energy off the bench, and also can play some PF when the Bulls take Brown out. |

I dont see us having a set starter at PF, but rather Skiles having the benefit of creating matchups every game that are favorable to us. Even the mpg is going to be skewed with the mix of players we have there. Some games Sweets will play 25 minutes and the next he may play less than 15, but Im sure Skiles will find a way to get these guys into matchups that help each use their different assets to help us win. Being able to have 5 guys at that spot who each provide a different look to the other squad is a good problem to have, and they all appear to be good team players who's main objective is to help the team win.

Very interesting, if thats the case I have no doubt it will be PJ Brown. If its not Brown, either we've acquired someone else or Brown is hurt. |

I'll say that while I do think Brown will start at PF, I don't think he'll get more minutes than the guys off the bench. I could see where he'd just start the game, but only play like 20 minutes, while the other 28 min. at the PF spot are divied up among Noc, Sweetney, and Allen.

Skiles is going to go with the hot hand...I also think that there will be times that Brown starts, plays most of the 1st quarter, and then you only see him sparingly until the 4th to keep him strong late in games. Overall, I think it is best to keep Brown's minutes per game at about 25. |
