Yikes for sure... Very gross. Veeery Veeery gross!!! Thank God Tyrus has his head turned. Big Baby=St. Bernard.
I was very mad when we got Tyrus, but I have to admit, Im warming up to the idea of him as a PF down the road once he fills out. |

I think they are just waiting for minor stuff before they sign them. So basically until the Griffin deal becomes official we probably won't ink Tyrus and Sef.
Most teams tend to wait a while before signing the draft picks since its really pretty easy to finish the deal. Heck, I wouldn't be shocked if the deals were done, its just a matter of the Bulls not making things official. |

Well there's no negotiation involved in signing a rookie so I wouldn't worry about either one NOT signing or anything. There's a specific amount the players will get (based on draft position).

Thats pretty much true, but there is a little wiggle room. I think they have a few hundred thousand in which they can negotiate, but because its slotted you really don't have any holdouts. Its pretty nice, but at the same time it really sucks cause I do think guys should get paid based on market value and a guy like Lebron shouldn't get the same amount as Bargnani. Of course Lebron had some sweet endorsement deals. As a fan its good stuff, but the business man in me says the NBA union is weak, well at least in terms of young players. But they probably figure that if the rookies get paid less it means the Vets can make more money. |

That's pretty ridiculous, especially with a hard cap. Guys that never played a down are getting $20 mil guaranteed, and most of them hold out long enough that it sets them back. The NFL should really put in some kind of limits. |
