I know that you can interpret the statement as just a vote of confidence for the roster (I'm sure it's great), but it should seem obvious that you say something positive about the player in question (Rose) when you field a question like that. I hope Derrick takes it personally, I've always seen him as the kind of player that doesn't take kindly to slights like this.

Meh, so Lebron wasn't the most eloquent and prepared for the question. If he had said "I can't really worry about the guys that aren't here. We've got a great team and we're going to do our best to win gold," it's a complete non-story even though he's saying basically the same thing.
