...is my neighbor. my family just bought a new lake house in wisconsin and he lives on my street. his house is pretty tiny though and he drives a hummer.

Thats pretty cool. I'm guessing he can buy as big a house as he wants once he signs his fat contract in a few months (or so I hope he signs one).

we don't move in till august 31. but i am hoping he'll be there a lot next summer. i'll "accidentally" fall over in his front yard.

anyway, i guess somone tried starting a fight with him at a nearby bar. but the security guards broke it up. probly some jerk trying to get money out of him in a lawsuit.

you should frame him some how. Like find a dead hooker and plant her in the back of his hummer and get his finger prints all over it. And if he doesn't do what you say, you call the cops saying your "sister" has been missing for a couple of days and saw her last with hinrich.

In all seriousness, I used to post on that board and WSI about 6 years ago, but then I found Soxtalk when I was in 7th grade (Frosh in college now), and never went to another board again. That's how awesome Soxtalk is.

I don't really remember. I'm pretty sure it was the same there as here, though, -- Dasox24. I think it had to be b/c the 24 in "Dasox24" came from my football number in 6th grade, and I just never changed it. Anyway, I think you would have been in like 3rd or 4th grade when I posted there, so I doubt you'd know me from then. It was quite some time ago.

Anyway, I just want to point out that when I switched over, it was to SoxNet, not Soxtalk. Soxtalk.com wasn't even a URL yet.

Thats cool...a lot of the Sox fans here rep on Soxtalk, but to each his own. Once you find a niche you like its typically more comfortable to stay there. But if your ever interested in checking out another Sox site, your always welcome at Soxtalk...the more Sox fans the merrier.

Also, I just want to note that the comment you made to Soxfan1 was not appropriate and in the future comments like that will result in a suspension. I have no idea if you thought Soxfan1 was attacking you but he never meant his comment to come across that way. Hopefully you understand and we look forward to having more discussion about the Bulls and anything else

How the heck did this turn into a Soxtalk thread?

Anyways, as some of you can see, pretty much all of the admins and mods are from Soxtalk (except for Sport ). I've been there for quite some time as well, although not as long as Southsider, Chisoxfn, or SF1. Somehow I'm not even a top-100 poster there.

Don't worry, man. I've been there as long as Chisoxfn (though I didn't technically sign up 'till about 8 months after soxtalk started; i used to just read, not post), but I have about 30,000 less posts. It's all about quality, not quantity.

p.s. Jason, not that I mean you have bad posts, b/c you don't. In fact, you're probably the best poster on Soxtalk (or maybe I just think that b/c we seem to agree on a lot of the same stuff). The quality not quantity thing is in reference to other posters that might have like 15,000 posts, but they aren't worth a damn.

Ive heard about people in Chicago bars almost getting in fights with Hinrich too. I wonder if he likes to brawl when he gets a few in him. He should bring "fro with him so nobody messes with him from now on.

Its odd, he seems like a quiet guy so I'm surprised he'd get into fights. That said I love his attitude on the floor and he does seem to have some spunk cause he'll get into it if someone is messing with him on the floor.

That's what I was thinking too.

Although, maybe he doesn't start fights, but rather people try to start them with him so they can sue him or just to say they whooped an NBA player's ass. Kinda for braggin' rights, so when they're watching a game with their buddies, they guy can be like, "I kicked his ass one night in a bar..."

It's the same thing that happens to Marines when they go into bars. My bro is a Marine, and while he's never gotten in a fight, he says people try to start them all the time, so they have to just walk away. Though believe me, if a couple Marines wanted to fight, they could kick some serious ass. It's just not worth the punishment they'll recieve if they're caught.
