Getting Kirilenko for Big Ben would be a steal.

I just want Ben gone. He isnt the leader he thinks he is, offensively the Bulls play 4 on 5 when he is on the floor, you cannot count on him at the free throw line especially when the game is on the line, and his defense and rebounding is average at best right now. Sure, he has games where he is pulling down a lot of rebounds, but then he has games when he doesnt score and ends up with 2-3 rebounds. His lack of effort now is extremely visible, and Joakim Noah is offering the same skill sets at a lower price, with a chance to get better.
Im sure he is going to talk some mad smack when he leaves town though. If i had to choose from the Knicks deal and the Utah deal, Kirilenko would be a Bull. |

My question about that trade is, why would that make sense for Utah? Boozer is already short for his position at 6'9, Ben Wallace is only 6'8 playing the same position. And for the Bulls they get Kirilenko but he's a small forward which is the same as Deng.

And for the Bulls they get Kirilenko but he's a small forward which is the same as Deng. Kirilenko wants out, and the Jazz need cap space to sign Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer when they are able to be extended after this year. Kirilenko requested a trade before the season started and he has not rescinded that demand. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...,3507533.column QUOTE A big one for the Jazz is the length and amount of Kirilenko's contract, which goes one more season (three) than Wallace's and is at $17.8 million for that final year. Trading Kirilenko for Wallace would save the Jazz $21 million as Kirilenko is paid more annually than Wallace.
The Jazz has star point guard Deron Williams eligible for an extension this summer, and then Carlos Boozer before the end of Kirilenko's deal. It already has talked openly of paying Williams the maximum |

I actually would take the Knicks deal, simply because I think it gives the pieces for the Bulls to land a star. I like AK-47 but his contract is bad and I wouldn't want him on the squad. If I dealt Wallace for contracts my plan would be to use those contracts to help find a creative way to get a legitimate player back and I don't know if you could do that with Ak's contract (plus I don't know if he fits in with the Bulls needs). That said, I'd pretty much give up Ben Wallace for anything because he's hurting the development of the team. Plus he's pretty worthless without a good low post big (and the Bulls clearly aren't too serious about getting one of them and if they were we'd have one by now). So since they aren't going to put Wallace in the best situation to suceed (cause I still think Wallace has some left, its just not in Chicago where the Bulls don't have a low scorer and that just magnifies how much Ben hurts an offense). Stick him in San Antonio or Phoenix or LA or a lot of other places and he'd be just fine (because they'd have the offensive fire-power to make up for it). |

I love how when a reporter asked "Do you want to stay on the Bulls?" Wallace replied with "Im here until im gone". THat pretty much solidified the fact that he wants out. Well Ben dont let the door hit your a$$ on the way out... If pax can score AK-47 then by all means get it done!

I think both deals kind of stink... AK-47 might be able to play PF, but thats iffy... the other group of misfits from NY are all bad in some way... its a freaking shame that we're at this place after having such a fun and productive season last year.
Signing Ben Wallace set this team back, i think thats apparent - good or bad idea at the time... BW signing is on Pax |

I'd do that AK47 deal in a heartbeat...but as far as the Knicks go...there is absolutely NOBODY I want from that team...nor would I deal with them and take their scraps. Just avoid the Knicks altogether unless it's like the dude said above and it includes a big pick.
