I'm just curious about what you all think. How many of our guys will make the All-Star team next year and who are they?

I'm gonna say only Wallace and Kirk (but maybe more???)
What do you all think?

With Atlanta, maybe. Unfortunately for him, he's not in Atlanta wink.gif

I'd go with Ben and Kirk.

Just Big Ben but in a couple years Kirk and Deng should join them.

Ben Wallace and.... thats IT.

-Kirk will not make it, sry fellas. He has to get more votes than guys like Arenas, Iverson, Billups, Kidd, Wade etc....
-Fans vote for exciting players and Kirk isnt too exciting to watch compared to others... Any1 watch those sophomore vs. rookie matches? Kirk was playing D blink.gif Players are suppose to dunk and make fancy passes and stuff like that in those All-Star games. bang.gif

-Only way Kirk gets in is by being voted by the coaches. If the Bulls snap, and are like in 1st place or something, then i think kirk, or maybe some1 else, might get to play in an All-Star game. But the Bulls are too much of a complete team, therefore, no guy will be posting up "monster" numbers this season...

Probably just Wallace this year, but definitely more in a few years. Lots of players will have a good shot in a couple years, like Deng, Hinrich, and T2 if he fulfills his potential.

I would say Wallace is a virtual lock and Hinrich has a decent chance of being a coaches pick. Anyone else would be a serious longshot. None of them have anywhere near enough love around the league to make it. Remember, Gilbert Arenas was a replacement pick last year, so even if Deng, Noc, or Gordon plays great and puts up solid numbers they're not locks.

I think Luol Deng will have a break out year.

I could definitely see Deng breaking out. Look at the strides he made last season, and then remember he didn't get to work on his game at all in the offseason b/c of his hurt wrist. Now just think of what he might be able to do this season after having a full offseason to devote to basketball. The possibilities sure are exciting. We could see the beginnings of a consistent 20/10 man. And just think if he adds weight/strength to his 6'9''/6'10'' (whichever it is) frame. He could either be a PF or stay at SF, and be maybe the only guy in the NBA that could match up with LeBron with his size and athletic ability. Now, I'm not saying he could shut down LeBron, b/c really no one can, but I do think he'd be a better option than anyone else in the league.

[Start Dream] Then, when we add LeBron in 3 or 4 years, we'd be unstoppable with Hinrich, LeBron, T2 and Deng at the 1,2,3,4. Who the hell cares who's the Center with that 1-4? Yet, it could still be someone pretty solid with us getting a possible high draft pick from NY next year. [End Dream]

Even if Deng breaks out I can't see the fans and players giving him the nod after just half a season. I don't even know if Kirk would get it and he's playing for the national team and is already well respected around the league.

Ben Wallace is the only guy with a real good chance and he's going to have to play strong for that to happen.

Unless Kirk goes nuts, which I don't think he will, Ben Wallace is the only chance the Bulls have at an all-star appearence.

Artest has done a pretty good job shutting down lebron every time he has faced him.
