i was just looking into the draft again and i saw alando tucker in the mock draft a top 15 pick. and that he has every thing that is needed at the nba level including a 6"5 frame and a terrific defender. This is really making me want paxson to trade gordon and other pieces of the team for gasol so we can fill our then vacant place with tucker next year. We would also not have a problem anymore when we all complaing that the bulls are undersized at the 2 spot if we got him we would not be undersized. this kid will not put up the amount of points that gordon does right away and that will not be a problem because gasol will also be helping at that end so we will not need to put tons of pressure on him to do the right thing but he is a scored that likes to drave to the basket and finish with authority and can also post other guards up and help with his mid and three piont jumpers he has a all around game.

Paxson get the gasol trade done and our future will look so bright and we will be very good contendors for lots of years to come smile.gif

here is the link to his scouting report and his stats if you hit 2006 stats in the mid right hand of your screen.

You never know what will happen to this guy in the pros or even if her for sure comes out and is available, then he'd have to develop. Id like to get a Gasol deal done soon too, but not start rebuilding.

Tucker is an outstanding offensive player and he's one of the front-runners for player of the year and may get it since his two main competitors are freshman in Greg Oden and Kevin Durant.

However, I want to point out that Tucker is notoriously known for being one of the worse defensive "stars" in the big ten. The guy is an atrocious defender who shies away from contact (hence he's been called for like 6 fouls in big ten play) who usually gets toasted. The thing is Wisconsin never puts him on a talented player and that does help him.

I like Tucker, but I think there are better options, especially considering our dire need for a big man. Unless we pick up a big and deal away one of our guards there is no reason Paxson should take win type player (unless that guy is Kevin Durant, in which case we must take him and package Deng and other guys for our big).

The other problem with this is that Tucker is not a shooting guard at the college level or the NBA level. He's really a tweener, a PF in a SF body pretty much. He is not a good ball-handler and is a weak perimeter shooter. He is NOT the answer at SG. He's likely to be much better in college than he will be in the pros.

On another note, he's A LOT higher on that site than on draft express (28) or Chad Ford's on ESPN (42). NBAdraft.net's ratings typically aren't very good early in the process.
