Didnt see this anywhere, so if Im just stupid get rid of it. Not a bad deal though it may have implications for Toronto in the draft.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 21 2006, 04:39 PM) Wow. Maybe they are taking Morrison 1st overall??? I was thinking the same thing. This certainly is just speculation, but to me it implies they are indeed going small, as they should. Now they have Bosh, Vill, and Rasho up front, to me it would be a bad decision not to add a quality player outside of the post. |

I think it means they will take Bargnani or Morrison. Now they do not need a center. So that crosses off Tyrus and Aldridge.

This was already posted in the NBA section but it can be moved here because it does affect the Bulls possible picks...

If they were smart they'd take Roy or Gay instead of Morrison. Tyrus and Aldridge are definitely out. Bargnani doesn't seem like a great fit either assuming they don't trade Villanueva or Bosh before the draft. That would basically give them 3 power forwards, which doesn't make much sense.

I say they draft Bargnani. Honestly though, I have a feeling they'll trade down and take whoever falls to them between Gay, Bargnani, Morrison and maybe even Roy.

I really feel that Bargs is a SF in a C body, and he would fit well with who they have there. However, if Im Colangelo, I convice the brass to take Gay, like I said before, I think he may turn out to be the best player in this draft, and IMO they already have a great paint presence. |

I think it still points to them going fast and getting a guy like Bargaini. Bargaini can develop into a guy that creates mismatch problems, Rasha or Resto is a decent center and it looks like Bosh will be signing a long term extension. Those 3 are all pretty solid plus they have a pretty good athlete like Pape Sowe whose slowly developing down low. Things are looking up for the Raps. They are still a ways off, but Colangelo's son has things a little better. |

I don't see them drafting morrison or gay to play sf, bc they seem to have a pretty goood sf in villanueva.
My bet is a point guard. I still expect them to trade down to get marcus williams. They could probably get a another vet and a pick 5-10 for #1 |
