Pacers are only 2.5 games ahead of the Bulls, so this becomes another of the "must win" games for Chicago if they want to climb into the playoffs. |

More on the Bulls needing to help themselves to make the playoffs. |

Beating the Pacers would certainly make the playoff race more interesting. Especially if the Bulls fail to beat the 76ers.

I'm not sure there is much difference between the 7 and 8 seed... either Miami or Detroit... would you rather get hit with a lead pipe... or a baseball bat

I'd rather see them play the Heat, as their is a good chance Shaq could be hurt, which would make the series a lot more even.

Even if the Bulls wind up not making it to the playoffs, it's probably worth noting that the chase for the 8th spot probably will be a good thing for these guys to learn from as well.
Last year they basically had the 4th spot wrapped up before the last couple weeks, the year before that they were out of the playoffs completely. Even if they don't make it...they're playing some high-intensity games that they don't want to lose. |

With the Sixers getting beat down by the Cavs this would be a HUGE win

Fuckin' Sweetney. Jeff Foster is not supposed to have 5 rebounds (2 offensive) midway through the first quarter.
Tyson with the thunder dunk. |

Hmmm, looks like Stephen Jackson just doesn't feel like playing defense anymore. I don't know how that spiff flies with Bird and Carlisle. He'd be getting beach-slapped by Poppovich, I can tell you that much.

Bulls are up 32-25 at the end of the 1st Quarter. It would have been 32-22, but Granger hit an ill-advised, lucky-ass three.
