QUOTE
In the battle of premier point guards, Derrick Rose got the best of Chris Paul.

Rose scored a team-high 23 points, going 8-for-8 from the foul line, and also finished with six assists, four rebounds and a steal.

Three of his baskets tied the game: A dunk off a one-man fast break (14-14), a one-handed runner (42-42) and a sweet spinning layup after a steal (76-76).

Paul shot 3-for-10 — 0-for-4 in the second half — and had six assists, two rebounds and three steals.

These last two games really say a lot about DR1...he never once at any point in these games tried to push the issue and tried to do too much in making a point. In last night's game he was quick to credit the bench as the reason for winning last night's game and his leadership is unquestioned.

He made Chris Paul and Derron Williams look like average players in these last two games...his ascent to being the top PG in the league came quickly.

He is soo fun to watch. He truly is turning into a superstar before our very eyes. Not only is he the #1 PG in the league- I would put him in the top 10 players in the entire league. I can't wait to see how good this team will be when Noah comes back healthy!?! smile.gif
