The Bulls will be honoring the 20th Anniversary of the Bulls 1st Championship in '91 at tonight's game. Can you all believe it has almost been 20 years? I remember being 7 years old wearing my cartoon team picture of the Bulls championship team....I wore that shirt EVERY day that summer.

As for tonight's game, it's the 2nd of a B2B for us and the Jazz. The Jazz are coming off of a butt kicking in Minnesota and I'm sure they'll do everything they can to redeem themselves.

On a night where the Bulls honored the inaugural championship of the Bulls dynasty at halftime, the current Bulls showed they could be worthy of a future dynasty of their own. I for one hate getting ahead of anything with all of the other great teams in the league and consides yering this Bulls team hasn't even won a playoff series yet, but Michael Jordan gave our Bulls the greatest compliment he could give them, "If you take a look at this team you have tonight.....(crowd goes wild).....don't be surprised if you get six more."

Wow. Just wow. I got goose bumps and remembered the good old days like they were yesterday. Fantastic job by the Bulls organization.

*I know that no one from the Bulls reads my post game notes (I'm not sure more than 2 or 3 people do) but they got the message regarding how I feel about their three point shooting. MERCY! 18-32 from behind the arc setting a franchise record? What a blast that was to watch. Most of it came in the 1st Half as this puppy was over after the 1st Quarter with Rose pouring in 17 points. I realize Utah's defensive effort in the 1st half was less than admirable to say the least, but Utah knew it didn't matter. Rose came out and took that game over. It was easy to tell someone reminded Rose he needed to get his feet set and keep them underneath them on his jump shot as he's hasn't been sharp from the outside as of late. I believe he was reminded of this during halftime of the Atlanta game...it's like he couldn't wait to get back to correcting his technique and his base was much more consistent from there on out. If he can maintain that base, he'll avoid prolonged shooting slumps. What a show put on by Derrick Rose. They may as well mail the MVP Award to the UC....that race is over.

*I'm sure Thibs won't be happy as the Bulls gave up 59 point in the 2nd half and the Jazz actually cut the monster 29 point lead to 13 a few times, but I didn't care. It was obviously party time in Chicago on a Saturday night with all of the heavy hitters in town. With this game being over in the 1st quarter...complacency is pretty much expected. Props to the Jazz as they came out that 2nd half and fought. Al Jefferson was great and Harris got hot. That team didn't quit on Tyrone Corbin...the only problem is they never got off of the bus for him. I'll say it right now...after the dismantling of the Jazz this season, this could very well be the end of the Utah Jazz as we know them. If Favors doesn't pan out, we may very well never hear of them again.

*As I stated before I understand the Jazz's defensive effort was less than stellar and the Bulls got more wide open threes than even they're use to. However, it is not uncommon for the Bulls wing players to be able to wet their finger and test which way the wind is blowing before they shoot with how open Rose gets them. If the Bulls make shots...they're unbeatable.

*Did anyone else miss Carlos Boozer the past couple of games? I didn't. I do believe the Bulls will need his added dimension of being able to score inside come playoff time along with his playoff experience of being successful. It sounds as if Boozer will try to go Tuesday from what I've heard (no link, just radio talk FWIW). While I believe it is important he return and get as many games in before the playoffs hit for team chemistry purposes...I feel his health is more important to the Bulls.

Hey man I read your posts. . keep them coming. Yea that ceremony was awesome. I can't believe it has been 20 years. I Was 7 years old when they defeated the lakers for the title. I remember just sitting in my living room watching the players shower eachother with champaign- so my older brothers and cousins decided it would be fun to shower eachother with soda. My parents were PISSED. lol but it was a moment i'll never forget. It was the beginning of a dynasty.

D. Rose and the Bulls have the best all around team in the East. Yes i said it. This team can do something special this year if they keep this up. They have character and hard work ethic. No ego's. Just a pure team. I'm proud of the Bulls and can't wait for the playoffs to start. They skys the limit with this years squad.

I've always wanted to have a champagne shower ever since seeing that years ago. I don't know why, but of all the champagne showers I've seen in sports...seeing that one just resonated with me my entire life.

I'm right there with you on the Bulls being the best all around team in the East. Jump on the bandwagon, people...there is plenty of room!
