the only thing that woried me was is off the court problems, i hope it doesnt carry over. I don't think that will be a problem knowing that he received approval from both Pax and Skiles, and we all know how strict they are when it comes to dealing with players with off-court issues and/or bad attitudes. It's why we never even let Tim Thomas play, and why dealing for Randolph was never an option. If he did enough to ease their worries, then I'm sure he really has matured. I guess you really never know, but I have a feeling he'll be good. Though, if he messes up, he'll be off this team so fast... |

I wouldn't worry about Curry too much, the only thing I've ever heard about him was one incident involving the selling of marijuana when he was still in high school, which cost him his scholarship to North Carolina. I can't recall anything at Oklahoma State, in fact I remember reading that he was taking it to the other extreme and trying to avoid any kind of trouble at all once he got a second chance.

Curry will be a suprise pick IMO, like Daniel Gibson was last year. He'll average around 10 ppg a few assists and a few big shots. For some reason I just have a feeling he will be one of the gems of this draft in the 2nd round and he will be a great scorer off the bench for us this year.

Maybe not 10 ppg, but I do think he'll contribute if we get rid of Duhon. It would be hard competing with Hinrich, BG, and Sef for him to avg. 10 ppg, but you could definitely see him put up a game here and there with 10-15 points. I think he'll avg. about 6 ppg in about 12-15 minutes/game. |

Im assuming either Duhons gone or he will be in Skiles doghouse. Curry would seemingly take all of his minutes and absorb some others as time goes on if he deserves it. He reminds me of Ben Gordon who was a scorer in college just like Curry. With Tyrus most likely starting next year as it looks, Nocioni probably gone, somebody has got to score. I just think Curry is a steal in this draft. He will have a "Daniel Gibson" impact this year but will have more minutes earlier on.

He reminds me of Gordon as well, but he's clearly not as polished or else he would have been taken in the 1st round regardless of character issues. However, I don't see how he'd absorb all of Duhon's old minutes b/c there's no way Sefolosha gets stuck playing 12 minutes/game again this year, while Curry gets 25, especially since Sef is a very good defender and will be even better as a 2nd year guy. I think you'll see Sef get Duhon's old minutes and Curry take Sef's 12 minutes/game. However, if Gordon is dealt in a Gasol deal, for example, then obviously the amount of playing time for Sef and Curry would increase. |

I wonder if he would have been accepted to play at North Carolina instead of Ok state if his draft selection would have changed? hmm... I expect from my prediction for him to play atleast 12-15 mpg this year.

he's gonna be a lot like pargo.....except taller and longer
he's definately taller than BG and has a lot more length but like pargo he may put up some 10-15 point games in blow outs or every now and then when a few people are struggling, but he will never get the consistent playing time to avg double figures or even close. JamesOn stays if Duhon goes (and i hope he does for darko! yippee!!!) but thabo is going to be the primary backup and both guard spots i think the bulls plan is something like between each guard spot-96 mins Hinrich-36 mins BG-32 mins Thabo-25 mins Duhon/Curry-0-3 mins That way for more than half the game we have a 6'7 guard on the floor. Your typical Vince Carter/Kobe Bryant type plays 40 mins a game. And you manage thabo minutes to match him up with those guys. I think we can all live with those guys being covered for 15 mins (obviously most of which would come in the 1st quarter) by hinrich/griffin/duhon or curry |

We have enough guards and we definitely didn't need another one... who is also UNDERSIZED. Dumb move my pax. Also Aaron Gray??? Please. This was the Worst draft ever. If Michael Jordan is saying worst draft ever, you know it had to be a pretty good draft. |
