It's very unfortunate that Brand ruptured his achilles in practice. What bad luck for the Clippers especially after what they went through last year with Livingston's injury. I just pray that nothing like that ever happens to any player on the Bulls. |

That injury will probably bump the Clippers into the high lottery, which has gotta suck for Clippers' fans that were starting to see improvement. Too bad, Brand is a hell of a player, you hate to see that stuff happen.

Well, on the off chance that Brand actually does come back healthy in 08, and Livingston ever makes it back period...it's even more talent for a loaded roster. |

Well, if there was an Oden/Durant type in this draft maybe, so far this doesn't appear to be a high impact class, though there are some talented prospects. It's very heavy on the incoming freshmen, so you never know. Derek Rose could make Shaun Livingston pretty irrelevant, and Michael Beasley could be an impact wing player. OJ Mayo and Eric Gordon could give the backcourt a shot in the arm as well. They better get a top-5 pick though, after those guys it thins out quite a bit (of course it's REALLY early, so someone could step up). |
