So why exactly did we trade Sefalosha for the 26th pick again?

I'm pissed and the only way to make me happy is to start the rumors of a trade for T-Mac.
T-Mac is what this team will need at SG to make me happy and to fill a need. He's going to be in a contract year and I think he'll play his best basketball in years in order to get a new contract. Houston will likely want to trade him after all that has happened and I think the Bulls could put together a solid package. Maybe us drafting all the 4's was a sign but not that we are planning to trade for Bosh. Maybe it is a sign that we plan on using Tyrus in a package to trade for a SG. Tyrus, Miller, & others in a package for T-mac. I'm officially starting the rumor and I'll be the first to buy his jersey. T-Mac would for sure lead the Bulls out of the 1st round. We then offer the minimum to Sheed, Glen Davis, McDyess, Andersen, Odom or Marion. Bulls next year: Noah/(Andersen?) Sheed-Davis-McDyess-Odom-orMarion/Johnson/Taj Deng/Salmons T-Mac/Salmons Rose/Kirk I'd be happy with that lineup but if we wanted we could then package our newly acquired youngins in a trade for one of the Clippers bigs. We could either trade for Camby or Kaman with a package of Johnson, Taj, & Tim Thomas's expiring contract. Camby or Kaman/Noah Sheed-Davis-McDyess-Odom-or Marion/Noah Deng/Salmons T-Mac/Salmons Rose/Kirk Basically what I am saying is losing BG is not the end of the world. It will be if we stand pat but there is no reason why we can't pull off deals that could potentially pay off big time that won't hurt our cap space next year. T-Mac is the highest paid player in the league and having that expiring would allow us to replace him with Wade or keep him at far less money if we want. The Bulls have options and they better use them. Otherwise, I'll simply be watching games from home this year (no need to pay for tickets when management is too cheap to shake the lineup up). |

If the Bulls stand pat they can still be successful and make the playoffs. But in order to do that they'll need to:
1. Have all of their starters stay healthy 2. Return to being the league leader in FG% defense 3. Deng will have to be better than he was 2 years ago (hitting that mid-range shot like he used to and finally becoming a 3 point threat) 4. Tyrus & Noah need to be better than last year (I think this is the most likely of all the items I listed. Tyrus is playing for a contract). |

What a great time for Paxson to step aside so that he doesn't look like the one that let Gordon go. At least Gar said he wanted BG. That tells me that Jerry once again had no idea what he was doing and wouldn't spend $.

Yep, our owner once again, seems more interested in buying a bad NHL franchise than go in the luxury tax to sign the Bulls top scorer and 2nd best player.. |

There would also be nothing stopping the Bulls from signing him now and clearing tax space later this offseason. Maybe there's a silver lining to this. This move, combined with our draft, makes the 4 guard lineup nearly impossible, and the VDN 5 guard lineup totally impossible. Rose, Salmons, Hinrich, Deng, Noah/Miller. They can't go to that for 30 minutes a game can they? |

So realistically they could have dealt Deng/Hinrich during the season and still have been under the luxury. If nothing gets done this offseason aka acquiring Bosh.. I'm going to be incredibly frustrated with our ownership. |

I love BG but unless the Pistons trade Rip, Prince, & Oberto to the Jazz for Boozer, AK47, & Miles the Pistons are going to suck next year. But if they make the move I just listed (which is entirely possible since the Jazz need an upgrade at SG and will be looking to dump Boozer & AK47 to save cap space for Millsap) the are going to be pretty good next year.
This would save the Jazz several million this year and would fill the PF need for the Piston's b/c Charlie V. does not do that. Brown/Maxiell Boozer/Charlie V. Ak47 BG Stuckey They'll play small but I think this team could make the playoffs. I don't think this team can: Oberto/Maxiell Charlie V. Prince Hamilton/BG Stuckey |
