QUOTE
Sources indicated yesterday that the Chicago Bulls are also trying to get into the discussions, along the same lines as Portland. Under this scenario, the Bulls would try to get center/forward Marcus Camby from Denver, while sending veteran P.J. Brown to the 76ers. Smith and the other player would still come from Denver to Philadelphia, and Iverson would wind up a Nugget.

But the sources said that King was not very interested in 37-year-old P.J. Brown, despite his expiring contract ($8 million this season). Brown is not playing much at all in Chicago and would welcome a trade.

this was from the philli enquire, i wouldnt mind getting camby if all we were giving up is p.j., he probly isnt happy with his small role, like it said.

Camby isn't necessarily the low post scorer we need but he and Wallace make one of the best front court duo's in the East. Imagine all the blocks and rebounds...jeez.

Camby would be a great addition in place of Brown.

Yeah, looks like this isn't gonna happen. Nuggets never had any intention of trading Camby, but they did talk about getting rid of Nene in that 3-way for Iverson, which that pretty much killed anything happening. Talks could resume, however, if Denver does decide getting AI is worth giving up Camby.

If we somehow get Camby for PJ Brown than count me in. Camby is injury prone but when healthy he's an elite defensive big with a little bit of offensive game (not much by all means). But Camby and Wallace would give the Bulls a pretty devastating defensive front court and Wallace should enjoy playing in our fast pace offense (even though he'd be coming from a fast pace offense in Denver).

Wow, apparently the initial rumor had Sweetney and Brown going for Camby with the Sixers getting those two guys and JR Smith plus a draft pick from the Nuggets.

That actually isn't too bad since at the end of the season the Sixers would get rid of all of those contracts except JR Smith, whose contract is an absolute steal at this point. He'll also be the type of guy that could develop into a star for the Sixers (mixed with them having tons of cap room and an extra pick or two).

Bulls get there guy in Camby who would obviously get a lot of minutes in Chicago as long as he's healthy and would make the Bulls a better team.

I don't think it will happen, but it would be a great duo(Ben and Camby). Teams would have a
hard time scoring against that.
