I was watching Mike and Mike this morning, and they were discussing completely reseeding the teams between each round. Dicky V. and both hosts seemed to be for it. We all know Stern is willing to make changes like this, but I have to say I don't really like the idea of it. One... unless they played 3 games a night in the first round and 2 in the second to shorten the span of the playoffs (or something similar) it would take even longer than it already does to complete. If scheduling didn't change it would take something like 2 months for a 16 team playoff. Plus, having to wait for all teams to complete the round would make teams like the Bulls and several others this year wait several additional days because of the 7 game series'. Two... I think it would make it excessively easy and hard for the top and bottom seeds respectively to advance through the bracket. I mean... I don't like the idea of the top seed getting the 8... then a 5 or 6 to get to the conference finals. And in the event a 7 or 8 wins... they have to play the 1 and 2 in the first rounds? I can see why it would be good to match the best teams for the big games later on, and I have to admit it would put greater emphasis of the regular season, which would be, to me, the best thing about the change.

Edit - Just saw another thread about nearly the same thing. blink.gif

Screw the reseeding, it's sometimes nice to know who you're going to play a week before the game. Just stop putting so much bloody emphasis on division winners when divisions mean nothing.
