The only guys who deserve consideration are Wallace and Hinrich. Other than that, no thanks.

And they have about a snowballs chance in hell of making it.

what about LU?

All-star voting already? That's kind of bogus. Not a very large sample size to go on...

what about LU?

I don't know. Do you think he has played better then Chris Bosh? Rasheed Wallace? Paul Pierce? Jamison?

There is a lot of competition at forward... If he can get his points per game up above 20 he might have a chance huh.gif
Chicago Bulls Franchise
Kirk WILL be an Allstar this year and probably our only one other than possibly Walace but he has to step it up.

Honestly?

He would have a shot if they had a separate category for point guards, but do you think anyone is really going to pick him over Iverson? Wade? Carter? Joe Johnson? Red? Arenas?

if Coangelo was picking the team... then Kirk has a pretty good shot. But I don't think many people will be looking past points per game.

He ought to make the all defense team huh.gif

Kirk Hinrich, Michael Redd, LeBron James, Charlie Villanueva, and Nenad Krstic would be my East line-up.

Why Villanueva?

Not yet anyways. If he could get up into the 20-6-6 range, then I would think about it. As of now, no.

I think Hinrich deserves to be an all-star, but our all-star will probably be Ben Wallace.
He will get popularity votes because the average fan knows him.

Why Villanueva?

Because he's a beast. But it will likely be Dwight Howard. He's more deserving too.

Wade,Carter,Joe Johnson and Michael Redd are all Shooting Guards. Kirk is a point guard.

Yes, Villenuava is a beast but I think he is one year away from having a breakout year and well deserving of making the Allstar team especially with an expected drop off in performance from Kevin Garnett and Shaquile Oneal, there will be more players getting a chance.

Hopefully Hinrich will be an All-Star, because he is the most likely to be one. Everyone thinks Ben Wallace will be an All-Star, but I'm not so sure. Even if at the break he is at where he is usually, he has to people to get over: Dwight Howard and Shaquille O'Neal.

Dwight Howard (a center on the ballot) will probably receive a ton of fan votes and be the starter. If O'Neal can stay relatively healthy until the game, there is no way Ben Wallace is chosen over the Diesel. If Wallace gets any accolades this year it will most likely be another DPOY.

Here's my Eastern All-Star Predictions:

Allen Iverson
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Jermaine O'Neal
Dwight Howard

Reserves:
Gilbert Arenas
Vince Carter
Paul Pierce
Chris Bosh
Shaquille O'Neal
Jason Kidd or Chauncey Billups
Kirk Hinrich or Michael Redd

I'm voting everyday for the Bulls players, dispite our horrid start, with Duhin as a write in.
