So they are off to a way better start than anyone could have imagined. From what I've seen, Warren Carter can play.

Yeah I am a huge Illinois fan but unfortuanetly they lost to Arizona after blowing a big lead. Warren Carter is a very athletic kid. Im impressed with Shawn Pruit. 6'10 PF that is a great rebounder but so so on the offensive end.

yeah i saw the illini last saturday and pruitt and carter are beasts.
i have high hopes for them and yeah, was upset at the AZ game, watched it on TV and watched them blow that lead. oh well, cant be perfect like 2 years ago lol

Pruitt and Carter have looked good, but I think their guard play is going to have to improve for them to make serious noise. Smith and Randle getting back to 100% will help, but McBride is bad, and I really don't know if Brock, Frazier, and Meachem will cut it against better teams.
