Noah screws up doughnut run
Posted: Tuesday October 09, 2007 08:01AM ET
On the heels of their first playoff series victory in nine years, the Bulls like to think the bar has been raised this season. That even includes rookies such as Joakim Noah and their assigned doughnut runs. "I keep telling him, 'No Dunkin' Donuts. We want Krispy Kreme every day,' " demanded Ben Gordon, who explained the preference was only meant to give the rooks more grief. "We've been on him hard about that. We got to teach these guys the hard way." "Wrong donuts?" pleaded Noah, who also was docked his per diem because he talked trash at practice Monday morning. "It wasn't my fault. They don't say, 'Dunkin' Donuts.' They just say, 'We don't do Dunkin' around here.'

Am I the only one who thinks this tradition has something to do with Michael Sweetney?

Joakim's always got some good one-liners... guy is going to be fun for sound bites. On a sidenote, Dunkin Donuts > Krispy Kreme.

Sounds like Noah is taking this well. At least he isn't acting like Ced Benson about getting treated like a rookie.

Dunkin Donuts > Krispy Kreme.

Oooo, dunno 'bout that. Think one cannot lose either way. But DK's coffee >>>>> than KK's every day of the week including twice on Sundays.
