According to 670 the score, Boylan and Pax just finished up their 'meeting' and Boylan left with no comment. HE GONE! Some other interesting news- there are strong reports out of New York that Skiles is a top canidate for the Knicks job and it is most likely that Boylan will follow him there.

Whats next for the Bulls? Van Gundy, Carlile, Brown? Im guessing its one of these guys as Pax wants a guy who has experience and has the knowledge to have what it takes to take a team to the NBA Finals. Carlile came close in 2003 with Detroit, Van Gundy took New York in '99 and Brown won it all in 2004 with Detroit. Pax wants a guy right away so they can figure out there direction of the team ASAP as the draft and free agency is right around the corner. Should be an interesting week or 2.

Thank God. Now let's get this off-season going and find a good coaching and a better coaching staff.

And here's a snippet from the Trib article:

QUOTE
Boylan, who assisted Skiles both with the Bulls and Phoenix, could land a job on Skiles' next staff. The former Bulls coach is weighing at least two coaching opportunities and could be employed by this weekend, perhaps in Milwaukee.

General manager John Paxson immediately will conduct a search that will include former coaches like Rick Carlisle and hot assistants like Tom Thibodeau.

I like that Thibodeau is getting mentioned there.

THANK GOD!!!
I'm glad they did it right away. I would hate to have wondered if there was a slim chance they'd keep him.

Chicago Bulls Franchise
Get an offensive coach that can take advantage of what athletes we have and will have for the future.

We need to hire a great coach that can develop players, we need to hire a real big man coach to work with Noah and Tyrus, and we need to get lucky in the draft or make every effort to trade up to top 2. Either we trade up or we need to seriously explore every sign and trade opportunity that would allow us to bring a star player to Chicago.

We also can't affort to let Deng or Gordon for nothing after next season, so signing both to extensions or using them in a sign and trade this summer is a must.
