He's 6'6", rediculous leaper, and from reports a very good ball handler who creates off the dribble. Why didnt this kid declare? He would easily be a lottery pickin this weak class, and with his athleticism and shooting ability, would most likely be rated as a top 3 guard. Why he didnt declare is beyond me, maybe the fact that he goes to Vandy shows that he is really interested in his education.

First off, the Vanderbilt thing does hurt. He simply has no draft buzz. Secondly, if you look at his numbers, he doesn't stand out all that much. The 16 points per game is decent and the 3 point percentage is good, but he is a non-factor in the assist department or on defense. Plus his low turnover total and the fact that about 55% of his made shots come from behind the arc says that he is more of a spot up shooter than an all-around stud.

If he were really a lottery pick, he'd be gone. But he's basically a less-talented, poor man's Maurice Ager, who is projected to go somewhere in the mid-first round. Maybe in another year he gets some hype, but it appears that he needs a little more work.
