Since 1984 (expansion to 16 team NBA playoffs) 67 series have been tied 2-2.

-The road team is 24-43 in these games (36% winning percentage)

-In the 43 game 5 losses by the road team, only 5 teams (9%) have gone on to win the 7 game series.

-In the 24 game 5 wins by the road team, 20 of them have gone on to win the series (83%)

This one is HUGE.

I dont believe in this kind of stuff, statistics dont make a difference in this matter the players do.

The statistics are usually showing some underlying fact. Like the fact that if 2 teams are evenly matched enough to wind up 2-2, the team that wins game 5 only has to win 1 of the last 2 games to win, while the other team has to sweep. So the statistics are only telling you about the situation. They're not dictating anything to you.
