Ladies and gentleman, we are starting the Official Pick to Click contest for the Bulls here at TalkBulls. For those of you who are not fimiliar with the contest, it is the same as the White Sox version run by Hawk and DJ, instead, with the Bulls! Here is how it works:
Before every game, you pick a player who you think will perform the best. All picks can be posted in this thread and all picks will be due 1 hour before gametime. There will be post markers for each game. Every pick up until 1 hour before tipoff will be taken. After every game, the next post marker.
After every game, the stats are tallied and the person(s) who picked the player with the most points, wins!
The formula is as follows:
Each Point scored is 1 point added to the total
Each Rebound is 2 points added to the total
Each Assist is 2 points added to the total
Each Block is 2 points added to the total
Each Steal is 2 points added to the total
Each Turnover is 2 points subtracted from the total
At the end of the season, the person who has correctly picked the most Pick-to-Clicks, is the regular season champion. If the Bulls continue on into the playoffs, we will also have a playoff Pick-to-Click contest. We can only keep the contest going with participation. If more people participate, it becomes more fun for everyone and far more challenging.
It is a very fun contest and it gets everyone involved. The first game we will do is this Wednesdays game against the Pacers. As stated earlier, all picks can be posted here and after the points are tallied, I will keep an updated tally here in this first post.
Remember, all picks are due 1 hour before gametime and there is only 1 pick per game. Only the first pick will be accounted for.
Just to add, you cannot pick the same player more than 1 time per week (Sun thru Sat) so pick your players and matchups wisely.
And away we go...

Final note...
If the player with the most points is not chosen by anyone, the runner up will be the winner. If the runner up is not chosen, the 3rd highest scorer is the winner. And so on...

What does the winner at the end of the season get?
Not sure quite yet. Probably nothing though.
Since we are only doing it for the remainder of the season (less than 20 games) we will probably hold off on rewards. If we do a full season next year, possibly a prize. Nothing is sure yet.

March 22nd Winner is Andres Nocioni with 45 total PTC points. Duhon was 2nd with 33 and Sweets was 3rd with 30. The only Noc picker was me. Yay.
And for the record, Granger had 30 total PTC point greasy.
Here is the marker for March 24 vs Hornets....

Depends on the what you mean.
Like stated earlier, the entire board could pick the same player but the individual poster cannot pick the same player more than 1 time in a week.

We'll go with you can only pick a player a maximum of twice in a week. Ie, I could only pick Noc twice this week.
My pick for Friday's game, Big Ben.

Actually, I think it would be better for 1 player pick a week since they dont play everyday. If they play 3 games in 1 week, it would defeat the purpose to pick Deng twice and Kirk once, for example. You know what I mean?

That works for me. We can always adjust if all the members feel 1 a week isn't fair.

Pick To Click = Chris Paul
No, seriously, I'm going with Luol. Desmond Mason is a damn good perimiter and mid-range defender, but Deng is gonna put up 20 on him.
Also, Andres Nocioni vs. David West looks like a good matchup for us when we're on the offensive end. West and Diaw are the frontrunners for
Most Improved Player, but you won't find very many PFs who are smaller than West girth-wise. Nocioni should be able to physically abuse him.
