He did have a great game tonight, but any NBA player should be able to make a layup or catch a pass.

he has his moments but they are bursts not for the whole game that is what we need.

Whenever he is in the game, he is altering shots. That's all that matters. For instance, when the Bulls played the Raptors not too long ago, Tyson forced Bosh into shooting three airballs. Those don't show up as blocks in the stat sheet, but when it comes to defense, you really have to focus in on players on a game-by-game basis, because it doesn't show up in the statsheets. Paper ain't gonna tell you who is a good defender. Bruce Bowen doesn't put up defensive stats, and he is a legendary defensive player. He straight up smothers people.

As noted by Sam Smith in a recent column, Tyson has unbelievably small hands for his size. Seriously, there are guys who are close to 12 inches shorter than him with bigger hands. Just check the pic in your signature. Therefore, he has a hard time gripping the ball with one hand. That takes away from his ability to finish, there's no question about it.

But you catch the basketball with two hands, and Chandler still has issues in that department, although I'm sure that he'll improve. First off, you have to throw him bounce passes. You can't fire the ball at him. Gordon hasn't learned that yet, although Hinrich recognizes it.
