Summer League

Cool, I was waiting for the official announcement of the roster.

I am very happy to see Cedric Banks, Aaron Miles, and Jackie Manuel on the roster.

I'd expect a starting lineup of:
Miles
Basden/Banks
Sefolosha
Thomas
Schensher

EDIT: WOW. Surprising to see Scott Skiled is the actual head coach. I don't recall him coaching Summer League Teams in the past.

Tiras Wade, we have to have him on our team. A combination of D Wade's ballhandling and shooting skills mixed with Tyrus Thomas' Blocking and defending skills

I've seen on a few other message boards, fans asking if JR Smith will be added to the summer league team. Seeing as how the trade can't be official until July 12th, I doubt he will be added on. If so, it will be for two games but not sure if a player can be added once the league starts. Anyone know?

Ya, I'm pretty sure a team could make roster changes. Afterall the whole point of it is to help teams develop guys. I evne think sometimes you have certain guys play a few games and not in others.

I did see where Artest is thinking about playing on the Kings summer league team.

I really hope NBA TV airs these games...

Aaron Miles and Jackie Manuel were both pretty damn solid collegiate players.

Yeah, looking at our roster, I think Miles might have the best chance of making the team out of the guys who weren't here before. Knowing Skiles he will want to carry another true PG on the roster, so he should have an excellent chance.

Chevy (Chevon) Troutman played at Pitt and when he was a frosh/soph, big things were expected. The team, as a whole, seemed to disappoint the last few years and the value of Chris Taft (drafted last year) and Troutman dropped quite a bit.

As an aside, whenever I saw "C. Troutman" typed on the screen, I would think of Colonel Troutman (aka Rambo's commanding officer played by Richard Crenna).
