According to Peter Vessey
QUOTE
Peter Vecsey of the NY Post reports its apparent Larry Brown is trying to leverage his way into a buyout of the final years of his $11M per contract with the Knicks. Either that or Brown is angling to get Isiah Thomas fired. If you fire Thomas first, it says here, you're letting Brown off the hook.
My guess is he wants Isiah gone.

And he should. Isaiah Thomas is a moron when it comes to any GM duties. If there were no forwards and centers in NBA, the Knicks would we champs.

Everyone knows that Isiah is the problem there... You bring a system-wise, defensive style coach, and the GM brings him offensive minded, one on one style players. Brilliant.

I just realized that we also get New Yorks 2007 and 2009 second round picks, as well as the swap for next year. Wow.

Boy...Larry Brown getting a gigantic contract and then finding a way to get out of it well before it's over and still lining his pocketbook? Where have we heard that story before.
