Hawes looks like a Sacramento Kings guy, maybe its because he plays and somewhat resembles Brad Miller..

Was that confirmed? I imagine we will keep him, but did Pax or someone say the Bulls are not going to trade the pick?

Interesting. I wonder if the Bulls have any other trade talks going?

Noahs fine by me, hard nosed player who wants to win and he can score down low, I guess we will have to see how he progresses during the summer.

Bulls #1 need: Low Post scoring

Best (realistic) low post scoring option: Spencer Hawes

I would of liked Yi or Brandon more than either of them but Hawes to me is just not the answer. He lacks good athletism, doesnt rebound, and was only a freshmen so he wasnt going to help in the immediate future anyways. Noah is a gifted defender and a great rebounder, also is very athletic. To me he can be our future Ben Wallace almost except better offensively and able to hit a free throw with consistency.

Im not disagreeing with you but Hawes hits his free throws and has a nice jumpshot better than Noah but yet I like the Noah pick.

Two opposite players really.

Noah is a teller, less athletic Tyrus Thomas...just what we needed.

I'm not entirely mad with the pick just because I think that the piece that we really needed/need should have/has to come through trade. We still need that go-to low-post guy, and, although I am the first to admit I did not see much at all of hawes, I don't think he would have been the answer.
