Ok. We know he's not coming in the draft, so during FA Pax absolutely has to acquire a veteran post scorer.

He has admitted as much.

Guaranteed: We will sign or trade for a veteran post scorer

But who? This question will remain until Pax definitively solves the problem

WHO WE GOT?

Here are my ideas so far--

FA:
Jamaal Magloire
Darko?
melvin ely
corliss williamson?
Mikki Moore?
C-webb?
Chris Mihm?
Joe Smith

Trade:
Nene
Gooden
Camby
Primoz Brezec
Sean May
Zach Randolph
abdur-rahim

help........who we gettin and how?

The draft is not over. Are you sure we won't try and get "Big Baby" in a sign and trade with Duhon involved?

If not I think Gooden, Rahim, or Ely are the most likely options. Randolph is off the list b/c the Blazers are idiots trading him to New York.

I like Glen Davis, but he has Michael Sweetney 2.0 written all over him. Lack of height and weight concerns.

So you think NY got the better of the trade?

Nocioni + Duhon for Channing Frye is what I'd love to get done.

no way NY gives up frye

anybody who can average 10-15 ppg gets us into the finals. if noah isnt doing that, then he sits his first 2 years, and gets "tutored" by whatever veteran they bring in

Frye is supposedly going to Portland in the Randolph trade. And, since Portland has Aldridge and Oden, they don't necessarily need Frye.

Personally, I wouldn't even think about making that deal. Tyrus is going to be a star. Maybe not an offensive star but he's going to be a major game changing player.

That Randolph trade makes no sense whatsoever. They have terrible outside shooting, so they add another post guy who's got attitude problems?

Fits right in. When do they realize they have what they need in David Lee?

I think Drew Gooden seems like the most reasonable option. Although maybe with their obvious rebuilding they are going through now we can make a move for Wilcox from Seattle.
