well if he had decent guards that could move the ball he would have shot better

And why the fish talk spiff about PJ Brown. He brought it all game, and I do believe he had a double double. Jeezus freaking christ.

i do believe what started this all was the above quote. 1st half sure, 2nd half hell no.
not saying others did better, would have been nice to see a lineup change and get some speed in there and see what happened instead of more outside shots. we have deng gordon and hinrich that can do that, why need pj to do it too. get thomas to run in there do some insane spin around 1080 dunk and then have fun on defense and get the crowd into it. then bench gordon and get thabo in to stop rip/chauncey.

Hinrich was so tentative the whole game, dribbling in circles looking to pass only.....he also did many costly, stupid turnover passes late in the game.

i do believe that most of those came with 6 or less seconds on the shot clock. pretty sure he didnt have the ball for all the other 18 seconds

How does that justify what happened tonight?

PJ was out of gas. The lane was open for Prince and all the other slashers.

What do general terms have to do with Brown's play in the 2nd half tonight?

PJ was out of gas.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 11 2007, 03:49 AM) *
How the hell do you not blame Gordon, Deng, or Kirk for this loss?

I'm pissed at all of them too. I never had a chance to express it because you jumped on me the minute I said PJ's name.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 11 2007, 03:49 AM) *
You choose to blame the only guy who played hard?

He better play hard playing guys 10 years younger than him. It could have been worse.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 11 2007, 03:49 AM) *
Tyrus shot a great 1-6 from the field in the 1st half. But of course, he deserves to play more in the 2nd half.

Look at your Sig. Spark was the reason I wanted Tyrus out there. The stadium was half dead. A little energy would have not hurt.

Wow, you can't be more wrong. Yes, the Bulls choked, but Rasheed was not hitting luck shots. Thats his shot. And when he's wide open, thats his shot even more. I'm willing to bet that both Gordon and Kirk are there next year as well.

And why the fish talk spiff about PJ Brown. He brought it all game, and I do believe he had a double double. Jeezus freaking christ.

What did he have abou 30 minutes tonight? I would like to think the way Tyrus has played this team, he could give us atleast 12+ points in 25 minutes. This team is filled with role players with mid level talent. Im sensing were in need of a trade that involves part of our so called "Core". Im starting to like the idea of getting rid of kirk in order to get CONLEY IN THE DRAFT!

None of that is justification at all. Those are some of the worst answers. He better be playing hard? Uuum, Gordon, Kikr, etc are all YOUNGER or the same age as the Pistons guys and they didn't play harder. PJ was out of gas. Come on. There is nothing he can do when McDyess/Webber and Wallace are all out playing on the perimeter. If he sticks the perimeter guy and prevents open J's and leaves the lane open, you beach it him. If he helps in the lane and they dish it out for an open jumper, you beach at him. His 2nd half was still better than Tyrus' 1st half.

Just because you hate Tyrus Thomas doesn't mean we all hate him. Differentiation (sp?) in opinions is not a bad thing but you give no love to a high energy rookie who comes in and sparks the team. He was our leading scorer last game and plays barely at all in the most pivital game. Hell Tyrus was the only one who "Wanted" to rebound tonight. His misses werent from post ups, they were on follow ups and missed 10 foot shots that he has no business taking.

The game came down to poor execution and bad coaching. How do you not sub for 18 minutes as you watch Detroit take the lead away from you? We lost the game right there.

It's a damn lay up. If you can hit a lay up in 6 seconds, you shouldn't be in the NBA. You can pump fake twice and still get it up. Great logic there.

Hopefully everyone plays all out like him regardless of age.

EDIT - Tyrus is going to be an absolute freak if he stays at it. The kid is insanely gifted. I don't think anyone is saying otherwise.

I'll just lie to end this conversation.

PJ was dominant out there. Man amongst boys. Double-Double and a block. He's a brickhouse!
