For the people that watched the game the announcers were pretty funny. They totally didn't want to be there. Anyway, I love the comment when Luke put up the hook shot. The announcer said something to the effect of that "shot is short I think we all expected that"

It was pretty funny considering everything that has been posted about Luke not having skills.

did you watch the game? B/c the three point shots didn't look bad. Especially the last one. I think given some time Tyrus is going to become a great scorer. I think he just needs time to practice those shots on the NBA level.

None of them went in, I don't care how good theey looked. I dont want him shooting jumpers at all. EVER. Nonetheless 3 pointers.

Well I don't want Kirk shooting them either.

His only job should be to give Gordon and Deng the rock next year and to play stellar defense.

That makes no sense. Kirk actually has a jumpshot and can create his own shots. He is a point guard, Thomas is a "power forward." What's your logic?

And if all he did was "give Gordon and Deng the rock," then you are limiting his game a lot.

Kirk is not the greatest shooter and he often opts to be the hero instead of pass the ball. Your right he is a point guard so he should keep passing and get those assist numbers up.

And Tyrus is a power forward now but his true position will be SF. Do you know someone named Lebron or T-Mac. Two SF's that shoot from 3? Anyway my logic is the kid is young might as well have him develop everything while he is still able too.

I like when Kirk takes it too the hole but not when he tries to dribble and shoot from three or around 18ft. If he is open I have no problem with him taking the shot.

I hope Tyrus continues to shoot the ball. I want him to be the next Tim Thomas except more athletic and with a bigger heart

I would prefer for him to be a Kenyon Martin with less injuries!

I never said Kirk was the greatest shooter. I like Kirk doing what he has been doing. Don't change his game at all. He has done good enough playing the way he has to play for the US National team.

Thats the reason I hate(d) drafting Thomas. He is a PF in a SF's body with a SG's head. WE DONT NEED ANY MORE SF's.

And Yes, I have heard of Lebron James and Tracy McGrady. Neither of which are Small Forwards. Lebron is a point-forward and McGrady is a pure shooting guard.

We drafted Thomas to be a PF not a SF. Don't focus on developing a non-existent jump shot, instead, teach the kid some low post moves and tell him to get his ass in the gym.

I know they both should be SG but they played small forward. Anyway, when he was drafted I said he wasn't a power forward. I am not sure he will ever put on enough weight to seriously punish people down low like Kenyon Martin. Now we have 3 small forwards of the future. Maybe one day we will start 4 small forwards.

I don't know who you wanted us to draft but I know Aldridge is not going to be good/great for some years to come (if he ever even becomes great). There were no great centers available yet alone any other highly regarded power forwards worth taking.

I think Thomas will turn out fine in a few years. Either that or he will be another Marcus Fizer. I tend to think the first scenario is more likely.
