I think Ratliffe has the better shot to be a productive pro. I don't think Denmon can make it due to size issues. Mentally, I wasn't a really big fan of English to be honest. So in other words, I wouldn't want either of those guards on my team, but I'd take Ratliffe.

Denmon impressed me most of any player I saw last year in person. Including PJIII, Acy, Miller, Robinson, Taylor, Withey, White, English, Ratliffe. He has ice in his veins and I can see him being Terry/BG7

Not against the Teague pick, but I woulda rather had Lamb. I'm surprised Lamb lasted this long ...

I guess with CJ probably gonezo next year they need a guy to fill that role on the bench mob and Teague will be a good guy for that. They cant get by on keep grabbing guys like Hinrich, Kidd. or Nash every year.

If he can be as good as his brother then I'll like the pick.

Pre Lu/Rose

CJ/Teague
Rip/Butler
Brewer/Korver
Boozer/Taj
Jo/Asik

Pre Rose:
CJ/Teague
Rip/Korver
Lu/Brew
Booze/Taj
Jo/Asik

I think that pre Rose/post Lu lineup keeps you alive in the East till Rose comes back. Potentially trade CJ at the deadline if Rose is back.

Really wish they could have traded Brewer or Korver for a pick.

Yeah he was a clutch college player, but Ed Cota also has school records at North Carolina.

There goes English.

So are we really going to go into next season with Rip Hamilton and Jimmy Butler as the only SG's on the team? All of a sudden, Brandon Roy's value just shot up enormously with the Bulls.

other thoughts on the draft:

- That Perry Jones pick could be huge in whether the Thunder sign Ibaka or Harden.. Really would like Hardin on the Bulls but if Jones maximizes his potential I think OKC lets Ibaka go. If Jones provides enough on the offensive end though they could still let Harden go.

- I remember getting squashed over on the other boards when I mentioned the Bulls should trade into the mid 2nd and grab Plumlee. With him going in the first I no longer feel as stupid.

-Really like the MKG pick, and by that I mean I feel better about the future pick for the Bulls. The Bobcats need scorers, I'm not sure MKG is that. I think Beal and even Barnes will be the better scorers and would immediately be their number 1 option.

-I like the Thomas Robinson pick for the kings, I think they'll be good next year. If they can keep Evans at SF and go Thomas-Thornton-Evans-Robinson-Cousins I think thats a pretty good lineup.

-If NOLA can pass Rivers off as a PG and Gordon returns that could be a scary team as well.

Brewer and Korver can play a lil 2 too but...I want Butler as a primary back up (part of the bench mob) next year.

-I don't think anyone ever said Plumlee in the second would be dumb, just that counting on him to be productive isn't wise.

-The Bobcats need everything, not just scoring. MKG was probably the best player there (debateable depending on how you feel about Beal).

-Rivers doesn't play anything like a PG.

Spurs reinforce my feelings about Denmon. Watch everyone talk about how he came from nowhere next year.

-The context of me bringing up Plumlee was either Boozer being traded or amnestied I believe, I think Plumlee will be a good back up PF.

- Agreed, I just think Beal improves that team more than MKG.

-From what I've heard they might try to play him there

- I'd love to see William Buford added as an undrafted FA.

Plumlee was pretty marginal even at Duke. His brother was considerably better than him, and I wouldn't totally want to depend on Mason to get decent minutes either.

Unless Rivers drastically changes his style, playing him at the point is a bad idea. He's always looking for his shot. He's a lot like OJ Mayo, not really a PG even if they have some decent ball-handling skills.

I highly doubt either will be back next year. The Bulls are up against the luxury tax from now until they get rid of one of their big money guys. Not in a great position. It's unfortunate, because Korver is our most efficient scorer and now you don't even replace him with a guy like Lamb, that's going to hurt a lot.

Korver and Brewer will still be here this coming up year.

The whole Lu for a lottery pick, amnesty Booze, and grab one of those prime FA SGs situation still works for next year and would put us in better position.

Next year:
Rose/Teague
Hardin/Bulls 1st pick ( or Ellis or Martin )
Lottery pick/Butler
Taj/Mirotic
Noah/Asik

If Mirotic doesn't come over you've got your MLE as a stop gap guy, if he does I'd use the MLE on a SG and work in the 1st rounder.

It's been widely speculated from various media members of the Bulls that they will not be retaining Brewer, Korver, or Watson due to Luxury tax concerns. You have to keep in mind who our owner is. He doesn't want to pay it if he doesn't have to. I'd be shocked if any of them were back with the team.

Well they're under contract for this coming up year so they either have to be traded or released and I can't see them just out right releasing them.

Unfortunately that's exactly what I think is going to happen.
