QUOTE The Boston Celtics have targeted center Brad Miller(notes) to sign in free agency, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Miller and guard Ray Allen(notes) are expected to be the Celtics’ two top priorities in free agency following the retirement of Rasheed Wallace(notes) and a knee injury to Kendrick Perkins(notes). http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=ApwN...radmiller062710 The Celtics are aiming high apparently. |

i hope the bulls bring miller back though. If he's interested in still getting playing time, and the Bulls were to sign a PF of some sort, or perhaps even a combination of a PF and SF, I doubt he'd be a good fit for that team, because they'd be at least 4 deep at the big man spots not counting James Johnson and Luol Deng as 'tweeners or trade bait. (The Deng/Gortat deal, for example, would put the Bulls 5 deep on PF/C types, with James and James Johnson at the SF spot). |

I have a feeling the bulls are his first choice to resign with.
When we traded for him, he did a radio interview in Sacremento and started tearing up because he was going to have to move his family from where his kids (who are school age) had grown up and made all their friends. He's a family man and I don't think he wants to move them again |

Melo could be on trading block and Salmons opted out.

not sure how legit this is but ill post it anyway
QUOTE It is official folks. The drama of the NBA Free Agency can begin. Moments ago on twitter.com, the first domino affect fell. According to multiple sources close to the Toronto Raptors front office, All Star Chris Bosh will head to the Chicago Bulls in a sign and trade deal. The Raptors are still in the works of getting a deal done, but it is believed the sign and trade will get done by Thursday. There is speculation that Chicago would send Luol Deng and a future first round pick to the club. It sure does make sense. The Bulls get Bosh, and then the recruiting can begin for either Lebron or Wade to come to Chicago. |

I think going after bosh first is a smart idea. lebron is not a guarantee, and you want to get to bosh before miami does

Miami can't beat that offer....Beasley? The Heat can't give that druggie away. |

It's really kind of sad how quickly... and predictably.. he went from potential first round pick to borderline bust and im sure the bulls would try to hang onto taj if they could but the bobcats would probably demand it. otherwise they are starting ed davis at PF |

He's a bit of a tweener and that's hurt him. I feel he also needs to dominate the ball to be successful....something he could never have the chance of doing while playing with Wade. His own demise are the choices he makes off of the court. He's a malcontent with obvious limited cognitive ability IMO. |

we definitely need to go after bosh 1st! I believe they will. There are a lot of moving parts, though. Whether or not Toronto is willing to take Deng to send him to Chicago in an effort to assure Bosh a max deal...who knows. Although, Toronto may not have as much leverage as they pretend to...if Bosh wants to leave and eat the $30 mil or so- Toronto may have no choice but to take on a bad contract if they want some young pieces to replace Bosh (AKA Gibson and Bobcats 1st). |
