I don't see the Bulls making a move for Howard now that Redick is definitely in the fold. Maybe I'm wrong, if the price is right he can be ok (think Deng sans defense + more consistent range)... you'd be looking at a deep team with the following (Balta/Slav let me know who I'm forgetting) C Noah C/PF Asik C/PF Gibson PF Boozer SF Deng SF Johnson SF/SG Howard SF/SG Korver SG Redick PG Rose We'd still be in big-time need of a backup PG, if I'm not mistaken. |

i would rather trade deng for iguodala than sign howard. isnt he coming off a knee injury? If that trade were remotely possible, it would have been done already. The entire reason they want to move Iguodala is they already have Turner to play the 3 and they want to get AI2's contract off the books. Howard would come an awful lot cheaper as a FA. |

There was actually a rumor going around that the Bulls offered Deng and Taj Gibson for Iguadala and supposedly Elton Brand because Philly wants him gone. I didn't like Taj being involved but looks like the deal isn't going to happen anyways.

Well, yeah, if you take the 3 years and $51 mil remaining on Brand's deal to watch him limp around the court it's a different story. I'm exaggerating on his injury a bit, but it's still an awful deal since he appears to be a shell of his former self and no one was going to touch that (including the Bulls). I don't recall reports that the Bulls actually offered it, though I do recall rumors that the Sixers offered #2 to teams if they'd take Brand with no takers. |

One of EB's legs is like 2 inches shorter than the other due to surgery. It's fucked up his entire game. He toast.

KC Reports that the deal for Asik is 3 years, $4 million. That'll work. You really can't beat paying a dude 1.33 million to be a solid defensive stopper off the bench with massive upside for the next 3 years. |

the longer we go without any bulls rumors, the stronger i feel we're just gonna resign pargo and flip murray The biggest reason why there are no Bulls rumors right now is that they've got $7 million committed to Reddick this year, but they don't yet know if Orlando will match. |
